About Us

The founders of the College of Fashion Design are educators with a strong history of innovative skills training in vocational education using world best best training materials.They have been registered as an Australian training organisation since 1994 and since then have delivered accredited training in personal development and custom made clothing to industry, schools and small business using flexible learning delivery methods.

Andrew E Verity (B.A. Psych) is a Human Relations Counsellor of some 40 years experience and author of the "ANDRAS Self Development Workbook" and "Business Intuition Kit" an innovative training program for small business enterprises.

Ros Verity (B.A B.Ed) is an educational researcher, teacher and change agent with a commitment to learner centred skills training. She has provided significant leadership in both educational learning and clothing production skills in the past ten years and in 2002 was commissioned by the Victorian Skills Employment Learning Commission to document "Best Practice Methodology" for the Clothing Industry apprenticeship program to highlight the use of innovative resources with case studies of successful application.

Ros is also a member of the Textiles Clothing and Footwear Curriculum Reference Committee and has participated in a project report for "Best practice methodologies examples and models for higher level TCF (Clothing)qualifications" She is also a member of the Australian Standards Sizing Committee for the re-development of garment sizings and presented evidence on two occasions to the Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Productivity Commission in 1997 and 2002 on the need for high quality patternmaking and fashion design skills with a paper entitled "The impact of high quality technical skills on Clothing Production in Australia".

The College of Fashion Design has a history of innovation and success in delivering the very best technical skills in areas which have traditionally been regarded as difficult to teach and is well equipped to provide an exciting career path in custom made clothing based on the Australian National standards.
